WV Holmes Safety Association Donates to Flood Recovery

8/14/17-  The WV Holmes Safety Association presented the WV VOAD a check for $4,000 to help with response/recovery efforts for the most recent flooding event that occurred in the Northern Panhandle. Their support to the people of West Virginia will always be appreciated. 1. Good Morning, My name is Sharon Sheridan and I am the President of the General Federation of Woman’s Clubs West Virginia. Our records show that we sent the WV VOAD a check for $3,055 last February and it has not cleared the bank. Question #1–did you receive that check or is it somewhere in the postal system. Question #2–if you received it did you cash it? Question #3– if you did not cash it, why not? It was for flood relief in Southern West Virginia in the Summer of 2016. We need to clear our records and re-issue another check if it has been lost. Thank you.
