Yesterday was the one year anniversary of a disaster that destroyed the home of a local family in Kanawha County. Reduced to living in an RV, WV VOAD, member organizations, and the local community stood up to give back to this family by raising funds to purchase a new mobile home!

With the incredible help of Volunteer Coordinator Buck Edwards and many other volunteers they finished the deck and ramp so they could move in this week! This project would not have been possible without our incredible member organizations, volunteers, and generous citizens of WV willing to lend a helping hand!
