New septic system completed in Clay County — February 2018

So many basic needs are disrupted in a flood. Through WV VOAD and the Disaster Case Management Program, a disaster case manager was able to secure adequate funding to help a Clay County homeowner replace the septic system on her property. The homeowner, who lives in the Elk River Road area, had more than two feet of water in her home during the June 2016 flood. Her property and previous septic system sustained major damage. A new system has now been completely installed. WV VOAD continues to work to make sure all flood survivors are back to living in safe, secure and sanitary conditions!
